Amanda Neul, winner of the Loved makeover competition, is now thoroughly immersed in the spectacular collection of treatments making up her once in a lifetime prize…and loving every minute of it!
I’m feeling so loved!” laughs Amanda. “I remember watching Dynasty in my youth and wondering what it would be like to have a life filled with pampering and beauty treatments – now I know!
“I’ve had four treatments so far… and have been thrilled with every one.
“We started with Nouveau Contour – semi-permanent make-up for the eyes. Helen explained that first she would be putting an anaesthetic around my eyes. While that was absorbing into my skin, she showed me a colour chart, I could either choose
my own colour, or she would match it to the colours in my eyes. I chose for Helen to match it up for me. I was amazed when Helen started on the lower lid first; it just felt like a tingling.
“Next was the top lid. This time it did sting a little, but nothing I couldn’t cope with. I was given after care instructions, and a balm to put on my eyes and Helen said if I was worried about anything I could give her a call day or night. The next day my eyes were slightly puffy and a bit tender, but by day two I couldn’t believe how amazing my eyes looked; no more messing around with eye pencils for work in the morning!”
Helen says: “I mixed emerald green, baby blue and smoky grey to give a blue shade that directly mimics the colour of Amanda’s vivid eyes, to emphasise and illuminate, giving an amazing effect with or without make-up.”
At my next visit I enjoyed an Elemis Anti-Ageing Facial. After a very long day at work I was looking forward to some pampering. My therapist, Abbie, had a good look at my skin and explained that she would be doing a Anti-Ageing Facial to help with my dry and damaged skin. This facial would combat ageing, stressed and slackened skin – just what I needed! The experience was amazing; not only did it leave my skin feeling soft and glowing, but I left feeling more relaxed than I believed possible!
Treatment three was a cellulite treatment from Endermologie. After losing a lot of weight, I still had cellulite, so I was looking forward to having this treatment done. It works by massaging the fat cells and the bonds that hold them together deep beneath the epidermis, breaking them down and increasing local circulation, which washes the fat away. It’s painless and I should see great results after a few more treatments!
Finally, Helen shaped my eyebrows, using the H.D eyebrows procedure. Wow – what can I say?! It’s a seven stage process that makes the shape of your eyes sharper gives a cleaner, more defined brow. I hadn’t realised just how brow shaping could change the whole look of the eye area!
Everyone has commented and how good I’m looking already; thanks to the Loved team I’m feeling amazing and looking great – and there’s more to come!
